Thinking of Joining a Golf League?

Leagues are a great way to play consistently more often with a variety of people in a fun social setting. Whether its a men’s league, ladies night or a couples mixer the basic premise is the same. Leagues are fun! Like any sport league there are always those competitive players and those who just want to meet other sports enthusiasts and partake in the social side of the sport.

Why Seguin Valley Leagues?

Our course truly focuses on the fun factor. While we know our golfers wish to enjoy the amazing course and camaraderie followed by a refreshment and meal. We add weekly prizes and contests that don’t always reward the best golfer or the lowest score.

Where do our prizes come from? How can the course afford to give such great prizes and keep the price so low?

We offer the opportunity for local business to showcase their offerings to our members and guests. In exchange for their logo presented on our weekly email blasts, social media mentions and signage on course on their specific day. Business’ have the chance to get their product or service in our customers hands. We even encourage the business to participate on their designated night to meet their new potential customers face to face.

Explain how the Circle Pot works?

The Circle pot is a chalk proximity marker drawn about 3 feet around the pin cup on one of the par threes on the designated nine for that night. With the $5 that each player pays to participate in the league a portion is contributed to this accumulating pot. All participants get a shot at landing their tee shot within the circle. Simple as that! Well, not so simple! The pot accumulates as each week passes without a successful winner.

I’m not a great golfer, will I be embarrassed playing in this league?

Absolutely not! The idea is to have fun! In no time at all you will be meeting and playing with new people who play just like you. Our men’s night is flighted and handicapped for low net and low gross.  Ladies, we don’t even record your scores! We award prizes for on course games and just for attending! Now, on occasion we have theme nights and while they are fun that could lead to some embarrassment.

What are the weekly costs?

The non-member rate is $30 for the 9 hole league including cart, tax is additional. There is a cash league fee of $8 per participant. There are 18 hole rates if you wish to play all 18. There are dinner specials offered every week.

"Golf here the first summer they opened, after opening the remaining holes the following year, ownership changes etc the course has remained in tip top shape. Always a test of patience not only in the fairways but on some greens that will test the best. Highly recommend playing the course and taking the time to enjoy nature at its best.", Ben Hughes

"I played here for the first time today. Started off great not expecting the premium chauffeur service to the clubhouse. Everyone was very friendly. The course layout is very nice yet challenging, with very picturesque surroundings especially #7 which wouldn't be that bad of a shot except for the wind but very nice to say the least. I only was able to play 9 but recommend any golfer visit Seguin and if i'm ever back in the area, will definitely play it again!", Cody Scott
